Mr. Annappa Nayak, the president of the Women’s National Education Society that manages the Besant group of Institutions, is the son of the late Manel Srinivas Nayak who as a visionary leader had played a significant role in the founding of many of the Besant Institutions during his tenure as the president of the Society. In recent years Mr. Manel Annappa Nayak has been extending his unwavering support to ensure that the Institutions move ahead on the pathway to progress as envisioned by the illustrious founders of the Institutions. Reflecting on the core values of the Besant Institutions he says, “The Besant institutions have prospered and gone forward. Nevertheless, our main motto shall always be to give education at a very nominal price to the downtrodden of society. We always aim to empower girls, give them a good education, and see that they are well placed in society, and I am glad that our entire team has been constantly working on fulfilling our motto.”
